Earlier I talked about what I use to help me build out the front end of a website/app here ( http://blog.graydientcreative.com/front-end-build-system/ ) . I had left off on creating a small app that compiles sass and implements a live reloading development and external server. This is perfect for development, but I want to take the app to the next step so that any front end matter is ready for production use.
What is Founder’s Day?
The Marcus Corporation was founded by Ben Marcus on November 1, 1935 with the purchase of the first Marcus Theatre in Ripon, Wisconsin. Since then, the Marcus Corporation has become a leader in the entertainment and lodging industry, expanding to hotels, restaurants, and multiple theatres across the United States.
To honor this anniversary, The Marcus Corporation recognizes Founder’s Day every year, where corporate employees can work a partial shift at one of the Marcus hotels, theatres, or restaurants. This year on November 3rd, four Graydient Creatives decided to participate, and here’s what we learned on our day out in the field!
Why is SEO important
A website that isn’t optimized for search engines is a lot of like a restaurant without a front door. If nobody can get in, you’re not going to have much success.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is an online marketing strategy that helps create pathways to your website and opens those doors to buyers. It also puts a big, informative sign out in front that tells customers you have the products/services they’re searching for.
It’s the time of year again where we personally express our gratitude for the people and things that mean most to us. On the business side, it’s an opportunity to say “thanks” to our loyal customers. Though for some businesses, they take that opportunity to give thanks year-round, and it’s proven to increase customer retention and sales. Their tactic? A well-thought-out loyalty program.
