When building an application using version control is one of the most important steps to use in your workflow. When things go south
git revert is one of those super useful commands! At Graydient we use bitbucket or github depending on the project and below are a couple of useful git bash commands that I use.
If I need to quickly revert uncommitted changes including files and folders.
If I already commited and I want to undo that last commit and redo
If I run into a merge conflict and want to resolve it.
To ignore certain files and folders create a .gitignore file in your base directory
then list the folder/files you want left out
