Which Team Uses It: Content Team
Why We Get Geeked: We use Evernote for all kinds of notes: project or meeting notes, checklists for tasks, and more. It’s a lot better than using built-in apps like Notes or TextEdit because It’s easy to organize your notes using the Notebook feature. My notebooks include: Blog Posts, Time Tracker, Personal, Tasks, and project-specific notebooks. You can also tag your notes to organize them too. Evernote also offers a mobile app to sync your notes to different devices. With the free version, you are limited to two devices. You can also share notes with others, which is great for team projects. There’s also a presentation mode so you can show your notes as slides in a meeting setting. (It’s a premium feature, but you can try it for 30 days)
Price/Investment: Evernote has a free basic plan, plus plan, (4/mo) and a premium plan. ($9/mo) The basic plan includes two devices, a passcode lock, and you can share notes with other people.
